March 9, 2022

Benefits and Pensions Monitor reports: Fees collected by active managers fell last year as managers struggled to beat market returns, says an analysis by Investment Metrics. On average, active management fees declined four per cent in 2021. Among all investment styles, global equity managers made the most fee concessions with the median fee falling 11 percent. Factors behind the decline in fees include active performance, style, and the size of mandates.
