Barron’s reports: As inflation and geopolitical uncertainties rattled the markets in the first quarter, U.S. pension funds posted their worst performance since the start of the pandemic, with a median loss of 5%, according to data released by analytics and data firm Investment Metrics, a Confluence company. The firm tracks performance and portfolios of over 4,000 institutional investors.
